Synopsis :

Following the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019), Spider-Man must step up to take on new threats in a world that has changed forever.

This movie follows Peter Parker on his school trip to Europe. All Peter wants is just to spend time with his friends and confess his feelings for MJ, but Nick Fury has different plan for Peter. Fury needs Peter's help to defeat a new threat and save the world.

Review :

The start of the movie remind us of the loss of Tony Stark and for the rest of the movie, the plot revolved around Peter who's trying to live up to Stark's and people's expectation of him.

This movie also shows us the new character, Mysterio. I can't talk much about the connection between Mysterio and Parker, because I don't want to give any spoilers.

In this movie, Peter was able to understand his powers better by facing something he never expected.

The most important thing is the romance between Happy and Aunt May. (lol. is it important? I think it is.)

This movie has MANY plot twists, some of them will make you go "what?" in a confuse way, some of them will make you go "what?" in an unbelievable way, and some of them will make you go "WHAT?!" in an angry way. This movie will take your emotion on a roller coaster ride.

Just make sure you stay for the 2 after-credit clips, so you know what I mean.

As someone who loves Marvel Cinematic Universe, I think this movie is "good" but not "great". Maybe because it's the beginning to a new era of the new Avengers.

If I have to compare it to another movie, the feeling this movie gave me is similar to the Fantastic Beasts : The Crimes of Grindelwald.

Both of them (Spider-Man : Far From Home & Fantastic Beasts : The Crimes of Grindelwald) seems like they're leading up to something grant and more complicated, but the movie itself is not really great.

The movie is not disappointing, more like unsatisfying, because it left us wondering what comes next. It feels like we need to see more just to understand what's going on and what comes next, but maybe that's actually the intention of the movie creators. They want the viewers to experience that confusion.

Thoroughly, This Spider-Man movie as the beginning of a new Avengers journey is a great start!
